Some Outset customers have access to our white-labeling feature, which allows you to replace Outset branding with your own logo throughout the participant experience. This creates a seamless, on-brand experience for your interviewees.

1. What's included in white-labeling

White-labeling covers the full participant-facing experience. Once enabled, your organization's logo will appear at the top of every study page that participants see.

This includes the interview landing page, onboarding flow, confirmation page, and reminder screens.

Currently, logo replacement is the only customizable aspect of white-labeling—fonts, colors, and other UI elements remain consistent with the Outset interface.

2. How to enable white-labeling

To use white-labeling, it must be included in your subscription. If you're not sure whether it's available in your plan, contact your Outset Customer Success Manager.

If your account supports white-labeling, follow these steps:

  1. Send your logo to your Customer Success Manager. We recommend an 800x300 PNG or JPG file for best results.

  2. Our team will upload your logo to your organization profile.

  3. Once your logo is uploaded, you can enable white-labeling per project.

To do this:

  • Go to your project

  • Click on Project Settings on the lefthand side bar

  • Scroll to Project configurations

  • Toggle Whitelabel this project

You'll see: "Your organization logo will appear instead of the Outset logo to interview participants."

3. Previewing the white-labeled experience

You can preview your white-labeled branding by testing the interview before it goes live. This lets you see exactly what your participants will experience and confirm your logo is displaying correctly.

4. What happens if you don't enable it

If you forget to toggle on white-labeling for a project, the default Outset logo will appear throughout the participant experience. Make sure to double-check your settings before launching.

5. Changing or removing your logo

Need to update your logo? Just reach out to our team—we'll make changes on the backend. Logo updates aren't self-serve at this time.

Hope this helps! If you have any further questions, please reach out to our team at [email protected] or via chat.
